The current facility opened in 2005, offering state-of-the-art ice conditions that cater to both amateur and professional curlers. Prior to this, curling in Aberdeen was played in less specialised venues, which made it difficult to maintain consistent ice quality.
Curl Aberdeen has become an integral part of the local sporting landscape, contributing significantly to the development and popularity of curling in Scotland.
