Happy New Year to you all, it was a busy couple of months to end 2018 at Curl Aberdeen!

November saw us hold the World Junior Ladies playdown to see who would represent Team Scotland at the World Junior B Championships, Team Farmer came out on top after a double round robin and a best of 3 final. They booked themselves a place in Finland which is currently happening, the girls have reached the Gold Medal match and in doing so qualified back to the World Junior Championships and event Curl Aberdeen successfully held in March. Well Done Team Farmer/Scotland!!

December saw Kay Gibbs team win the local Henderson Bishop qualifier to represent the Aberdeen Ladies Centre down in Stranraer. Congratulations and Good luck down in Stranraer.

Petroleum won the second round of the club bonspiel on the 1st of December, meaning they have won both club bonspiels so far and can’t be caught, congratulations to Petroleum on winning the overall  club bonspiel.

Curl Aberdeen hosted one side of the qualifiers for the Scottish Mens Senior Championship. results can be found here.

And also December saw Ryan leave Curl Aberdeen for pastures new, we wish him all the best in his new job.
