World Juniors, Aberdeen International & Scottish Police Championships

WJCC 2018

It’s been a busy 3 weeks for Curl Aberdeen, hosting 3 events within as many weeks. It started with the World Junior Curling Championships which ran 3rd March until 10th March.  You can read about it here and the images from the event can be found here. Curl Aberdeen would like to thank the volunteers who gave up their time and helped turn our rink into a fantastic venue for the championships and for giving our visiting nations a warm welcome to our club.

Aberdeen International

3 days later Curl Aberdeen hosted the Aberdeen International, which is part of the World Curling Tour, amongst the 16 team line up we had 7 of the competing teams which you will see take to the ice in Las Vegas at the World Men’s Curling Championships, as well as Great Britain Representatives at the Olympics & the World Junior Silver Medallists. If you didn’t come in to watch you certainly missed out on some world class curling. News from this event can be found here.
